Hello Everyone! I would like to start a group that will enable us to learn about what the other does for a living and maybe help each other find the jobs of our dreams. I have always found it very satisfying to help someone find a job and I also like learning about other jobs. Let's help each other find something that makes us look forward to Mondays.

Entry Level Position

Posted By Nicole Zacotinsky on Mar 26, 2010 at 7:38AM

Hello,

I'm looking for an entry level position in marketing or event management/planning in the CT/NY area.  I graduated in August with a BS in Business Management.  Still job hunting and figured I'd give this a shot.  If anyone thinks they can help I'd be more than happy to forward my resume along.  Please let me know either through an e-mail here or my personal e-mail is nicolerlevy@gmail.com.

Thanks,
Nicole

Hello all you lovely Sugar's out there!

I am in need of some serious help. I have a B.A. in Multimedia from a private University in Tempe, AZ and worked in the film industry out in AZ for a couple years but learned its just not a big industry out there and plus everyone told me I need to be out in Hollywood if I really want to make it. So now I am living in CA but still cant find a job. I landed an internship for a production company but I honestly feel like that is going to a dead end. Is there anyone else working in this industry out there that can give me some pointers or offer to review my resume and give tips? Thanks for any help I can get!!!

Organized and Ambitious

I currntly am an executive assistant for a small local company in the bay area. As part of one of my duties I run the membership association for the company. In this I handle the membership development/retention, planning the education classes, planning of events, newsletter and marketing and acounting.
I love what I do and would like to continue in the executive assistant/personal assistant role. I am organized and flexible with my time if needed and am open to relocating and/or traveling.
Working for a company or individual that is involved in the community or social awareness is important to me. I love a good challenge and love to meet new people and not afraid of much.
If there is something or someone you know that might need some help, please do not hesitate to contact me

I am currently working in Financial Services (operations) in San Diego. It is the industry that I got into in college, but I am not sure it is right for me. What do you all do and how did you get started?
